Witness Describes Moments Leading to Police Officer’s Death

After a night out with friends in River North, off-duty Chicago police Officer John Rivera apparently realized a dangerous situation was unfolding. Moments later, the 23-year-old was fatally shot inside his vehicle. Reporter Matt Masterson has been covering the trial and has this report.
