Hundreds of Clara Maass Medical Center nurses vote for union

Hundreds of nurses voted to form the largest health care unionization since the start of the pandemic in NJ. More than 500 registered nurses at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville voted to unite in 1199 SEIU United Healthcare Workers East, joining a growing movement of frontline caregivers who have been organizing, citing a need for better working conditions and patient care.
