Legendary NJ reporter, Joe Albright, dies at 93

Longtime Jersey Journal reporter Joe Albright has died at 93 years old. Albright was believed to be the longest-serving State House correspondent in the country. He penned his first article for the paper on Oct. 12, 1964. In a nearly 60-year span, Albright covered 12 governors and hundreds of legislators. He was known as “Saint Joe” or “Uncle Joe” by the State House press corps.
