FDA authorizes Pfizer vaccine for children ages 5 to 11

The Food and Drug Administration has authorized the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 to 11. This means that 760,000 more children in New Jersey could start getting their shots as early as next Thursday if the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention adopts recommendations from its advisory panel.
