Private company struggling to keep bus line

A&C in Jersey City at first suspended the No. 31 bus because of low ridership. Now, under public pressure, it has restored some service to one bus an hour. Jersey City officials demand NJ Transit either help financially, or take over the route. NJ Transit says it's not taking on another route, riders have options and it's lobbying Congress to help private carriers.
