“Sonnet Crown XIII” by Wang Ping
Clip: Special | 1m 49s
Born in Shanghai, poet Wang Ping moved to St. Paul to a loft apartment that looked out on the Mississippi River. She instantly loved her new environment. Wang’s poem Sonnet Crown XIII is from “A River in Our Blood.” Fittingly, Wang read her poem along the Mississippi River in a segment that was featured on the “MN Original” arts magazine in 2012.
