A new transitional housing program is being piloted to give hope to those who struggle to find shelter after being paroled and as they make the transition back into society. The Village of Hope, located just outside of South Woods State Prison, will house six people for up to 180 days, once they’re out of prison and on parole, until they get their finances in order and find permanent housing.
