This historical documentary combines stunning natural history cinematography and the compelling historical events that led to the creation of Hammocks Beach State Park. Beginning with an unlikely turn of the century friendship between a wealthy white neurosurgeon and a black outdoorsman. Together they managed to protect and preserve thousands of acres of pristine coastline, forests, and estuaries.
