NJ teacher shortage exacerbated by decline in candidates

A new report by the New Jersey Policy Perspective think tank highlights the trend of fewer people entering the teaching field over the last decade. "We are seeing a clear decline over years in the number of people entering the profession and school leaders in New Jersey are telling us there is a problem,” said Mark Weber, the report’s author.
