Preparations to redraw NJ's 40 legislative districts

Once every ten years, the boundaries of New Jersey’s twelve congressional and forty legislative districts are redrawn. The Legislative redistricting process is meant to ensure equal representation in Trenton based on new Census data. But a political commission draws the lines – and can solidify power for one party or the other for the next decade.
