Organizations Create Ward Map Made by Communities

The organization known as the Chicago Advisory Redistricting Commission has blasted both the mayor and alderpeople for failing to allow an independent remap process. The map they propose is called the People’s Map, which has proposed wards that keep neighborhoods together, but would result in a very high rate of turnover on City Council.
