New report analyzes social equity impact of marijuana in NJ

A group of researchers at Rutgers University wants to make sure that legalization of marijuana in New Jersey won’t lead to more social inequities. According to a report released by the group earlier this week, Black residents were more likely to be arrested for possession of marijuana than white residents.
