Former NFL player tells story of opioid addiction, recovery

Former NFL quarterback Ray Lucas spoke to student athletes at Harrison High School Tuesday about the dangers of opioid and drug abuse and how he tackled addiction. To help others who have struggled with addiction and to prevent youth athletes from going down the same path, Lucas, as spokesman for ‘Knock Out Opioid Abuse,’ will hold events at schools throughout the state.
