Report: NJ lost $850 million to NY in transportation funds

We get a deeper look inside last November’s controversial tri-state negotiations divvying up $14 billion in federal pandemic relief funds. Earmarked for the region’s transportation needs, in which New Jersey lost out on $850 million to New York. Under a standard funding formula previously used to split federal transportation money, the Garden State should have received $3.5 billion.
