Critics assail Murphy for supporting $5B turnpike expansion

There’s been an outpouring of opposition to a proposed widening of the New Jersey Turnpike along an eight-mile stretch to and from the Holland Tunnel. Gov. Phil Murphy supports the $5 billion project. But environmentalists say the plan goes against Murphy's climate change goals. And they’re marching 50 miles in five days to broadcast their opposition.
