We extended our search for Georgia STEM careers to the west side of the state with a visit to Southwire, the largest maker of wire and cable in North America. In short, they help your lights turn on. While we were there, we learned about Southwire's Engineering Academy for high school students, as well as how being an engineer is kind of like playing with Legos. Who knew?
