Applications to Excluded New Jerseyans Fund exceed $40M cap

The state says potential payouts from the Excluded New Jerseyans Fund have exceeded its $40 million cap. More than 20,000 residents have applied to the fund, which provides one-time cash payments of up to $4,000 per household. About 4,000 applications have been approved so far, while the majority are still pending approval.
