The art world recently lost Ellie Schneiderman, a potter, who was a friend to all artists. In the 1980’s, she had the vision to open what is now Oolite Arts on then-abandoned Lincoln Rd. In 2018, Oolite Arts created the “Ellies” in her honor – an award given to Miami artists to help fund their creative process.
