Some of the world’s most charismatic marine creatures convene in a once-a-year confluence of fins, fur and fangs. Scientists, animal behaviorists and other experts come together in a live TV broadcast to document the phenomenon at the once endangered and now thriving ecosystem of Monterey Bay, California. The PBS and BBC co-production airs live on television and online over three nights, 8/31-9/2.
