Public push could build support for Murphy on gun control

Observers foresee few if any compromises over gun control in Congress, but Rutgers researcher Michael Anestis says that public pressure in New Jersey could build momentum behind a couple of Gov. Phil Murphy’s gun control proposals. However, the Democratic governor could get also get pushback from members of his own party. Meanwhile, local school districts like Middletown are taking action.
