336 bears killed in hunt that Murphy vows will be the last

Gov. Phil Murphy is working with the Fish and Game Council to end the bear hunt and create a new policy to manage the population in New Jersey. Bear sightings have been reported recently in cities like Harrison and Kearny. But hunters say the October and December hunts are necessary to control this species that has no predators, but poses a grave risk to New Jersey residents.
