Back to school: Happy, but mental health, safety concerns

After facing a number of learning challenges during the last two years of the COVID-19 pandemic, children across NJ are happy to be returning to school in person. But as COVID-19-related worries lessen, some parents are expressing concerns about safety, especially after the mass shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas on May 24. Access to mental health services is also a concern.
