Diane Allen, GOP's Lt. Gov. candidate on a rightward tilt

Days after becoming the Republican nominee for lieutenant governor, former state Sen. Diane Allen caught some voters by surprise. After having shaped her career as a moderate who easily worked across the aisle, Allen was reported to have veered right recently when asked about her stance on so-called culture war topics like immigration, gun laws and the sex education curriculum in schools.
