Following New Year's Eve broadcasts that were filmed at historic Mount Vernon and Philadelphia's Independence Hall, "United in Song 2022: Ringing in the New Year Together" will feature multiple regions of the United States, filmed in Boise, Idaho, Marietta, Ohio, Atlanta, Georgia, Los Angeles, California, and New York City, and Washington D.C.
As we ring in the New Year, we celebrate the extraordinary cultural diversity of our country – from folk and rock to opera, country to hip hop, Broadway to bluegrass, and beyond.
Joined by pop and R&B sensation, Jason Derulo, Tony Award Winning Broadway star, Matt Doyle, and Grammy nominated Carolina Gaitán, from Disney's "Encanto." Eight-time Grammy nominee, Natalie Grant, Drama Desk Awardee, Mandy Gonzalez from "HAMILTON," Tony Award Winning, Joquina Kalukango, Broadway and New York City Ballet’s Tiler Peck joined by Roman Mejia, activist and singer song writer, MILCK, classical clarinetist, Ricardo Morales, pianist and composer, Jacqueline Schwab, Grammy and Emmy Award Winning Baritone, Reginald Smith, Jr., Juno Award Winning bassist, Rhonda Vincent, alternative-pop duo Wendlo, ACM Award Winning, Brett Young, award winning singer songwriter, Raye Zaragoza, join the American Pops Orchestra and Luke Frazier in this very special New Year’s celebration.
Featuring the background vocals of Boise State University Meistersingers, Ohio University Singers, and Spelman College Glee Club to highlight upcoming talent from across the country.
This special performance will also reflect on what brings us together as Americans, as we unite through the arts. Join us as we come together to celebrate 2022 and welcome in 2023 from all across the country.
